Booking Procedure
Once you are satisfied with your Itinerary and Quote, we shall require written confirmation from you in order to Confirm your Tour. We will then proceed to reconfirm availability of all your Provisional Bookings and advise you accordingly. Once confirmed, we shall advise you to process your payment before a specified Provisional Booking release date and as per the Payment Terms below. Only once payment has reflected in our account, will we proceed to firm up all your bookings and advise you accordingly once all suppliers have confirmed the same. If applicable, we shall require to receive any Balance Due, as per the Payment Terms below, in order to fully secure all your bookings with suppliers for your Tour. Along with a copy of your bank wire transfer/payment confirmations, we shall require a copy of each Traveller’s passport biodata page and a filled and signed copy of your Tour Participation Table (including any dietary/medical requirements and special requests that we should be aware of). Closer to your travel dates, we shall send you all relevant information and documents in preparation for your Tour, and if desired, will be glad to schedule a personal online briefing to cover any last minute questions and uncertainties you may have.
Payment Terms
Tours are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% nonrefundable deposit of the total cost of the Tour, subject to upwards adjustment if required by third party suppliers. Balance payable in full 60 days prior to the Tour start date. Full payment is required if the Tour is booked less than 60 days from the Tour start date. Any payments received will be receipted nett of any bank charges, including any intermediary bank fees. Credit Card payments are subject to a 4.2% surcharge and will only be processed by signing of an Authorization Form by the respective Cardholder(s).
Amendment of Service
Any amendment is required to be requested in writing to Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. (TSA.) There is a minimum charge of 50 USD per person, per requested amendment. Any amendment is subject to availability and not guaranteed. Amendment cost will be communicated to you prior to any changes. We require enough time to check on any possibility for amendments. Accommodations are subject to change. Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. reserves the right to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, fuel surcharges, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, government fees, and taxes. Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. reserves the right to alter the tour without notice.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
All cancellations or reduction in numbers must be notified in writing to Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. and is subject to the following cancellation fees once notification has been acknowledged :
Tour Confirmation to 61 days before a tour start date – 30% of the total tour price or deposit paid subject to third party supplier increases.
- 60 to 46 days before a tour start date – 75% of the total tour price.
- 45 to 0 days before a tour start date – 100% of the total tour price.
Travellers and/or Climbers, are responsible for any fees imposed by hotels, airlines and other third-party service providers due to the cancellation of original travel date bookings. There will be no refunds or prorations on any unused portions of the tour, including but not limited to, road transfers, accommodations, meals and activities, for any reason whatsoever. For a bonafide cancellations beyond our control, we will liase with all third-party suppliers on amending your dates of travel and requesting for credit notes to be issued for future travel. This is not guaranteed and at the time of deferment, we will advise on all non-recoverable costs and deduct those from the future booking credits. Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. will not be responsible for expenses incurred by Travellers and/or Climbers in preparing for the tour. This includes, but not limited to; visa fees, vaccines, insurance, equipment/gear and other necessary travel arrangements.
Liability
Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. (TSA.) requires that all, Travellers and/or Climbers, have purchased Comprehensive Travel and Medical Insurance that explicitly and sufficiently covers them for the entire duration of their tour booked through Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. (ie. Climber’s insurance should cover for high altitude trekking upto 6000 amsl.) Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. wants you, the Travellers and/or Climbers, to experience this tour safely and comfortably while recognizing that participation in any tour entails risks. Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. requires that all Travellers and/or Climbers have recognized the inherent risk of injury to themselves or their property from participating in this tour, and hereby, voluntarily assume that risk, regardless of the nature of the injury. All Travellers and/or Climbers agree to release Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd., its shareholders, directors, employees and agents from all liability for any injuries incurred by them, including those caused by negligence or otherwise, and agree to seek no legal recourse in the event of such injury as against Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd. will not accept responsibility for incidents of any nature involving any Travellers and/or Climbers at accommodations, during all forms of travel and activities for the duration of their tour booked through Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd., its agents and any other third-party service providers. This includes, but not limited to; theft, loss of property, loss of income, illness, accidents, injury or death.
